STRETCH ISLAND

This ranch was particularly sentimental to its owner.  Purchased to be a vacation home for families to retreat and regroup, it needed to sleep 12 comfortably and leave enough space for children to play during rainy days.  All fishing and boating gear needed to be in locked storage and the view was to be capitalized on.  A laundry room was added and both bathrooms were updated.  Open shelving was added to the guest room and the front living room was converted into a children's bunk room/playroom combo.  An exterior front porch was added to create a landing zone before coming inside and keyless locks were installed to welcome guests at any hour.  This project was the original Keen Haus inspiration.
